INTRO TO ROCK CLIMBING
This course is perfect for first time climbers, indoor climbers looking to climb outside on real rock, and families searching for an adventure for everyone.
The course covers: - rock climbing movement skills, safely fitting a harness and attaching to the rope, belaying and lowering a climber, abseiling, guidebook interpretation and route selection.

SPORT CLIMBING
These courses are ideal for learning to lead climb, indoor climbers looking to lead outside on real rock and experienced lead climbers wanting to develop their sport climbing skills.
This course covers: - learn to lead climb, belaying a lead climber, climbing movement skills, clipping quickdraws, cleaning a sport route, pushing your grade and problem solving.

TRAD CLIMBING
These courses are aimed at those wanting to learn traditional climbing techniques on single and multi-pitch routes. They are ideally suited for learning to lead climb, indoor climbers looking to lead outside on real rock and those wanting to develop the skills and confidence to trad climb independently.
This course covers: - leading traditional rock climbs, placing and removing a range of traditional climbing protection (nuts, cams, hexes), becoming a competent second, building anchors/belays, belaying a second from the top of a pitch or route, abseiling, and movement skills.

SELF RESCUE SKILLS
If you are a rock climber then a self rescue skills course is essential! These courses cover the skills needed to get out of trouble when problems arise whilst climbing. From retreating off of a multi-pitch crag to assisting a stuck or injured climber, these skills will help to keep you and your partners safe.
This course covers: - multipitch/sea cliff abseils, ascending a fixed rope, hoisting a stuck or injured climber, abseiling past a knot, escaping the system to get help/perform a rescue, getting a casualty off of a cliff

RCI REFRESHER & PREP
These courses are ideal for those preparing for Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI) training or assessment. Our instructors have many years of experience working on instructor training courses and have up to date working knowledge of the RCI syllabus.
If there are any particular areas you are needing to brush up on then our instructors will be able to tailor days to suit your needs.
This course covers: - personal lead climbing skills, personal abseiling, building anchors (bottom rope, top rope, abseiling), group abseils, problem solving, teaching climbing, flora and fauna.
