BEN NEVIS
The North Face of 'the Ben' is home to a number of classic ridge scrambles. The most well known is Tower Ridge and this is a staple in our guiding calendar.
For most, tackling just one of the ridges on Ben Nevis is a lifetime achievement and for others the goal is to climb all five. North East Buttress (V. Diff), Observatory Ridge (V. Diff), Tower Ridge (Diff), Ledge Route (Grade 1/2), and Castle Ridge (Mod).

GLENCOE
Gneiss Adventures guide on all of the classic Glencoe scrambles including the Aonach Eagach Ridge (grade 2) and Curved Ridge (Mod).
As well as these two well known classics, Glencoe has a host of other scrambles, many of which make great link ups so that full days can be spent on awe inspiring, breath-taking rocky ridges.

SKYE & THE CUILLIN RIDGE
The Isle of Skye is host to some of the best, and most challenging, mountaineering terrain in the UK. For this reason they are a sought after prize for any climber, mountaineer and hill walker.
Gneiss Adventures offer guided trips throughout Skye and the Cuillin. All 11 of the Munro's on the main Cuillin Ridge require a degree of scrambling and tackling these with a guide is a fantastic experience. We deliver Skye Munro courses as well as full Cuillin Ridge Traverses.

TORRIDON & WESTER ROSS
Torridon and the North-west Highlands have a number remote and beautifully positioned ridges which should be at the top of any mountain lovers wishlist.
We offer guided trips on Liathach (Grade 2) and An Teallach (Grade 3), two incredible mountain ranges with knife edge ridges linking up the main summits of these mountains.

THE CAIRNGORMS
We offer guided scrambling days in the Cairngorms and find these are perfectly suited to linking up a number of rocky ridges.

MOUNTAINEERING INSTRUCTION
These courses are aimed at those wanting to develop the skills to look after themselves and their climbing/mountaineering partners in steep, rocky ground. They are recommended for those who have some scrambling experience and want to take on more technical scrambles which require the use of a rope to protect difficult and exposed sections of routes.
This course covers: - planning a mountaineering day (including weather, route choice, and navigation), using the rope for ascent and descent, using traditional protection (nuts, cams and hexes), building anchors and belays, and emergency procedures.
